This French company manufactures pistons and employs four Multi-4 Integrated dot peen marking machines to provide optimal traceability.
The Multi-4 Integrated has varying automation options to increase productivity and reduce the risk of human error. For this particular application, the marking head is fixed to a workbench and locks the part in place using a pneumatic clamp.
Robotic arms place parts on the workbench and remove them once marking is complete. This process allows the operator to leave the Multi-4 unattended.
